Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security Teo Chee Hean will pay an official visit to Vietnam from March 21-26 at the invitation of Vietnamese counterpart Truong Hoa Binh.

Foreign Ministry’s Spokesperson Le Thi Thu Hang released the news at the Ministry’s press conference on Thursday.

During the visit, both sides will discuss orientations and measures to further strengthen the strategic partnership between Vietnam and Singapore, especially in such fields like trade, investment, culture, education, innovation, security, defense as well as international cooperation.

Hean is expected to meet with senior Vietnamese leaders and attend the launching ceremony of the Vietnam-Singapore Cooperation Center and Singapore Food Festival in Hanoi among other activities.
