Earlier on March 22, the Singapore PM and his first lady arrived at Noi Bai International Airport. Mr Lee visited Ho Chi Minh City on March 21, beginning the four-day State visit to Vietnam. During his meeting with with Nguyen Thanh Phong, chair of Ho Chi Minh City Municipal People’s Committee, the Singaporean government leader reaffirmed his nation’s longstanding ties with Vietnam. On March 22, Mr Lee and his first lady attended an inauguration ceremony of Mapletree Business Centre in Ho Chi Minh City. |
