The eighteen people were injured as a passenger bus carrying a group of Singaporean students encountered an accident following their trip to Bach Ma National Park on Saturday.

The bus was carrying 21 people, including the driver, a tour guide, and a group of Singaporean students, who were leaving the Bach Ma National Park after their trip earlier the same day.

A total of 18 people, mostly Singaporean visitors, were injured in the crash. Among them, six suffered serious injuries.

Dr. Le Thua Trung Hau from Hue General Hospital said that doctors tried their best to provide the treatment for the injured visitors. Besides the Singaporeans, the injured also included one South Korean and
a Vietnamese.

Hau added that all of the patients have recovered and will be discharged from the hospital in the days to come.

The injuries were of collisions with seats in the bus, particularly as many of them were sleeping at the time of the crash.

The coach was driven by Hoang Nguyen Thanh, 38, from Hue City. Thanh was tested negative to drugs. He himself was in hospital with several injuries. Dtinews
