Song Lam Nghe An (SLNA) have signed a one-year contract with Nigerian footballer Odah Marshal to prepare for this year's football season.

The transfer fee wasn't revealed, but the 24-year-old striker will receive a salary of VND175 million (US$8,000) per month.

Marshal, who used to play for Nigeria's U23 team, is participating in the FLC Cup with his new team.

At the national premier league last year, SLNA ranked seventh out of 14 teams.

Dong Thap inks contract with Thuan

After two months on trial, V.League 1 team Dong Thap signed a one-year contract with Phan Cong Thuan, who was top scorer at the national student tournament last year.

The 23-year-old, who played for Hue University, scored 10 goals at the student event.

Dong Thap coach Pham Cong Loc said although Thuan is an amateur, he has good skills and has potential.
