The case was reported by a local resident named Nguyen Thi Hoai Tram.

Tram said that at around 6 pm on Sunday, the Indian passenger who is her boss took a taxi from Tan Son Nhat International Airport to Oscar 68A Hotel on Nguyen Hue Street. After that, he had to pay VND1.2 million for the eight-kilometre trip which lasted for around 30 minutes.

A staff member at the airport helped to call the taxi for the Indian man.

The driver also asked him to get out of the car around 100 metres from the hotel.

Tram was really shocked to see the receipt and published the case on her Facebook page and contacted Mai Linh Group.

According to a representative from Mai Linh Group, the receipt does not belong to the firm. This is not the first time the company's receipt has been counterfeited.
