Hanoi prepares bags of medicine for Covid-19 patients treated at home

As the number of Covid-19 cases is rising, the Hanoi People's Committee has issued a plan for quarantine, monitoring, examination and treatment of Covid-19 patients at home.
Those who are treated at home will be provided with one of the three bags of medicines depending on their situation. The medicines are for patients, without or with mild symptoms, who are over 18 years old.
Vietnamese workers to have 22 official days off in 2022
Civil servants and employees in Vietnam will have 22 days off in 2022, according to the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs. The Ministry encourages enterprises to give their employees days off and notify employees at least 30 days in advance. Those who work overtime or work at night on public holidays and New Year's Eve will receive at least 300% of normal salary level.
Four metro trains arrive in HCM City
Trains for metro line No. 1 (Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien route) in HCM City arrived at Khanh Hoi port (District 4) on December 7 and 8. According to the previous plan, these trains will be shipped to HCM City on November 28 and December 5. However, bad weather delayed transportation.
Hanoi to spend VND1,864 billion to reduce traffic congestion
The Hanoi People's Committee plans to spend more than VND1,864 billion to curb traffic jams in the 2021-2025 period. The city aims to deal with 7-10 sites of traffic jams annually; to keep traffic congestion to no more than 30 minutes; and take measures to reduce traffic accidents by 5-10% during this period.
Construction of Long Thanh airport terminal to start in March 2022
The Ministry of Transport has asked the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) to accelerate the progress of the Long Thanh airport project in the southern province of Dong Nai.
Specifically, the construction of the runways, internal traffic system, networks of electricity, water, telecommunications, lighting, fuel supply system and the office building must kick off in June 2022. For works without basic design, after organizing bids for selecting design consultants, ACV is asked to urgently complete the stages of survey, design, and detailed schedule by December 2022.
US government-funded school built in Nam Dinh
A school with two floors and eight classrooms for more than 1,000 students, which can also be used as a temporary shelter in emergency situations such as natural disasters, has been built by the US Government in Hai Ly commune, Hai Hau district, Nam Dinh province. The work was recently handed over to the local authorities.
Prime Minister requests inspection of corporate bond issuance
The PM asked the Ministry of Finance to inspect the issuance of corporate bonds and the use of capital collected from corporate bonds, especially individual bonds of real estate firms and banks related to real estate enterprises. Loss-making companies which issue unsecured bonds will also be inspected.
The inspection results should be reported to the Prime Minister before December 15.
Tran Thanh Lam appointed deputy head of propaganda commission
The Secretariat of the Party Central Committee has appointed Tran Thanh Lam, Head of the Press and Publication Department, as Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Commission of the Party Central Committee.
Currently, the Central Propaganda Department has five full-time deputy heads, including Lai Xuan Mon, Le Hai Binh, Phung Xuan Nha, Phan Xuan Thuy, Tran Thanh Lam. Nguyen Manh Hung and Le Quoc Minh are also the Minister of Information and Communications and Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan newspaper, respectively.
