The northern region of Vietnam is forecasted to face heavy rains and strong winds from today until May 8.
According to the National Centre for Hydro-meteorological Forecasting, the north will see torrential rains and strong winds in some localities from tomorrow evening (May 7).
The Central Highlands and southern regions have been predicted to witness the same weather during the next three days.
The centre's forecasts also showed that, in the days to come, localities from Nghe An to Phu Yen provinces and several localities in the northwestern localities would have hot weather with temperatures ranging from 35-38 degrees centigrade.
