The Republic of Korea’s (RoK) National Assembly Speaker Chung Sye-kyun will start his official visit to Viet Nam today.

The Republic of Korea’s (RoK) National Assembly Speaker Chung Sye-kyun will start his official visit to Viet Nam today. 

Chung will lead a high-level delegation during a three-day visit to Viet Nam, announced the Vietnamese National Assembly’s Committee for External Affairs.

The visit is made at the invitation of the National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan.

Viet Nam and the RoK established diplomatic relations in December 1992. The two countries’ relationship was promoted to a comprehensive partnership in 2001 and to a strategic partnership in 2009.
