Previously, South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol sent a message to Vietnamese President To Lam, expressing profound sorrow over the death of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, a distinguished leader of Vietnam.
On behalf of the South Korean government and people, President Yoon Suk-yeol extended heartfelt condolences to the family of General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong and people of Vietnam, honoring the memory of a revered leader.
"General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's achievements and dedication to the development of Vietnam and the deepening of bilateral relations between Vietnam and South Korea will remain in the hearts of both nations," President Yoon’s message read.
