Local start-up Vntrip will co-operate with booking.com one of the world's biggest online accommodation booking websites.


 

The strategic co-operation agreement was signed on April 12


The strategic co-operation agreement was signed on April 12 and creates the biggest hotel booking network in Vietnam. The deal will see 6,000 hotels under contract in Vietnam alone and over 880,000 hotels worldwide.

This is also the first service that accepts all kinds of payment. Customers will benefit from free airport transfers. The company claims the will provide a 30 percent discount on direct reservation with hotels and bookings can be cancelled free of charge.

Vntrip representative Le Dac Lam said, "We are technology company working in the tourism business, not a traditional tourism firm trying to implement new technology. What we are trying to do is to create the best booking experience. The technology allows us to offer cheapest prices possible and free rides to customers."

The US-based Priceline Group’s booking.com have co-operated with many major companies worldwide include travel service provider Ctrip in China, and Indonesian Panorama Group as well as Russian Ural Airlines.
