After three and a half years of study, Phuong Linh graduated with highest honors, and ranked first among students in the university’s early graduation cohort of 2026.

Across 45 subjects totaling 120 credits, Phuong Linh received only one B+ grade, with all remaining subjects graded A. She was just 0.01 point short of a perfect score.

Phuong Linh said she is very happy with the results. “I think the result of the learning process lies not only in the numbers but more importantly, I have accumulated much knowledge, skills, and experiences throughout my studies. The learning process at Thuongmai University has helped me develop myself a lot, and I will consider these achievements as motivation to keep trying.”

Linh believes that each person has their own learning methods and strategies. After entering the university environment, she determined that for all subjects, she would spend a lot of time and effort to accumulate the most knowledge and skills.

She applies different learning methods to suit each subject.

“For example, in subjects with much practice or projects, I prioritize exploring, experiencing, and researching reality thoroughly to create effectively within the context, and I always ask teachers for feedback to gain a deeper insight. For subjects that are theoretical with tests and evaluations, I find and read more documents, trying to understand what I read instead of cramming.

“Additionally, I ask teachers for notes on assignments, question types, and things I don't understand to ensure that everything is ready and certain when I enter the exam room,” she said.

She also participated in workshops organized by the school and signed up for external courses to enhance knowledge and skills. According to Linh, the important factors at university level are self-discipline, proactiveness, high discipline, and good time management.

“I don't think I am a prominent person or anything different from others. But I always put a lot of heart into everything I do to achieve the best results and contribute to the overall success of the collective,” Linh said, noting that her results today mostly come from responsibility, hard work, and a drive for self-improvement.

“I think a positive attitude, a dare-to-think-dare-to-do spirit, and perseverance will help us improve. Those are always what I carry within me.”

Beyond academics, Linh participates in and explores other activities. She was the Secretary of the Youth Union Branch and a member of the Student Association Executive Committee of the Faculty of Marketing. Linh also joined the school's international cooperation and student exchange programs with activities such as event organization, communication, and translation.

“Through these programs, I have matured significantly and expanded my social network. Beyond the experience of living and studying in an international environment, I became more confident, more courageous, and more willing to take action in the face of challenges. I was able to connect with many professors, seniors, and friends in Vietnam and abroad, the people who supported and accompanied me during that time and with whom I still maintain connections today,” Linh said.

Mental well-being is also an important factor, so she strives to allocate her time reasonably to balance study with rest and relaxation. “Spending time with family and friends is also a good way for me to stay motivated, comfortable, and mentally positive,” she noted.

Linh revealed that she has been fortunate to gain work experience at several organizations, allowing her to pursue her passion and learn through real-world exposure.

“I participated in marketing activities such as social media management, research, data collection, and analysis. All the knowledge and skills gained from courses and practical projects in Digital Marketing, such as fanpage management, analysis, research, and design, helped me perform my role effectively,” she said.

For Linh, graduating with highest honors is a proud milestone, but it is only the beginning of a longer journey ahead. In the coming period, Linh sees this as motivation to continue pursuing Digital Marketing, further develop herself, and create positive value for businesses and society.

Linh believes Marketing is a dynamic field that demands creativity, so she must continue accumulating experience and improving her knowledge and skills to grow and perform well. “I believe that income and good opportunities will come in proportion to the capabilities, effort, and value that one creates,” she said.
