The fourth graders of Doan Thi Diem Primary School in Hanoi won the three highest prizes in the primary category in the final round of the WeCode 2016 Contest held last Saturday.





The contest attracted 60 students of primary and secondary schools in Hanoi.

Candidates used Scratch, which is a programming language, to create their own games, entertainment programmes or cartoons that provide solutions to help improve the quality of public transport.

In the intermediate category, the first prize was awarded to the seventh grader Nge The Anh of Nguyen Truong To Secondary School. 

Students of Nguyen Tat Thanh Secondary School and Vinschool won the second prize. 

The third prize was presented to three students of Vinschool, FPT and Nguyen Truong Tosecondary schools.

The awarding ceremony will be held on National Robothon Day on November 5 in Hanoi.

The students who won in the contest will attend another international competition in Indonesia on November 19.
