VietNamNet Bridge – Mr. Nguyen Le Quoc Anh, Director of Strategy and Bank Development, will temporarily replace Mr. Murat Yuldashev as the CEO of the Vietnam Technological and Commercial Joint Stock Bank (Techcombank).

According to an announcement from Techcombank on January 19, Murat Yuldashev resigned for personal reasons and will officially leave Techcombank on March 1, 2016.

The Kazakhstan CEO worked at the bank initially for three years and for one year in the post of CEO.

Mr. Nguyen Le Quoc Anh will temporarily replace him. However, his new position will be the Vice CEO until the bank appoints a new CEO.

Holding a doctoral degree of nuclear technology from Purdue University in Indiana and a master's degree of economics from the University of California, Quoc Anh is an expert in various fields related to banking, such as project management, business analysis, marketing, technology and system architecture building.

He also has experience in many senior positions in large organizations in the US such as T-Mobile US, Wells Fargo Bank, Nissan USA, Fortress Investment Group, TransMarket Group, McKinsey & Co, US Federal Scientific Research Institute, Pacific Gas & Electric Co. and many international organizations. He joined Techcombank in May 2015 as the Director of Strategy and Banking Development.

Techcombank is currently one of the largest JSCBs in Vietnam in terms of total assets, loans, deposits and net income. The bank has built industry-leading franchises in retail deposits, SME and retail lending.
