It was observed that from 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m., though there were no traffic incidents, serious traffic congestion occurred along Truong Chinh - Cong Hoa roads in the direction toward the city center.

 On the section from Truong Chinh - Phan Van Hon to Truong Chinh - Tay Thanh (the gate of Tan Binh Industrial Park), thousands of vehicles inched up. 

It took vehicles about 20-30 minutes to escape from this section, which is less than 1km long. However, after passing this road, they continued to fall in to traffic jams on Cong Hoa Street. 

The traffic jams did not reduce until 9am. 

Traffic conflict combined with the sudden increase of vehicles caused the traffic congestion, according to local traffic police officers.
