In the green algae season, the surface of Tri An lake in the southern province of Dong Nai is magically beautiful.
Ben Nom (Dinh Quan district, Dong Nai province) is part of the Tri An hydropower reservoir. In the summer, when algae grow strongly, the lake is covered by a special green color.
Fishing boats are anchored close together to dry nets. The brown strip of land, contrasting with the green color of the algae, creates a poetic scene.
Visiting Ben Nom at dawn, people will see beautiful sights.
The green color of the algae changes depending on the sunlight.
The morning dew mixed with the bright yellow sunlight creates a beautiful image.
Tri An Lake is an artificial lake located on the Dong Nai River, which is responsible for storing water to supply the Tri An hydropower plant.
Local fishermen said that anchovies are the most harvested here.
Not just during the green algae season, Tri An's quiet space attracts visitors on weekends.
In addition to Ben Nom, other peaceful destinations around Tri An Lake are Ma Da forest and Nam Bau island.
