VietNamNet Bridge – Holding a piece of glass in his hand, Mr. Trinh Trung Muoi did not hesitate to put it to his mouth and chew it. “Eating” this kind of “food” for years, he still remains heathy.

The man with this special ability is Mr. Muoi, 42, from Yen Lac commune, Yen Dinh district, Thanh Hoa province.

Muoi said he discovered this special ability when a group of friends challenged him to swallow a small glass cup. He put the cup into his mouth, bit it and swallowed easily, without any wound to his tongue and month to the surprise of others.

Since then he has been willing to perform this for anyone. “It is quite easy. I only need to chew and swallow it,” he said.

To demonstrate, Muoi broke a glass and put a piece of glass into his mouth, chewed it and swallowed like he was eating real food.

Muoi said he can eat other glass items, such as bowls, lamps, and bottles.

Muoi has eaten glass for years but his digestive system is not affected.

Muoi is a worker. He does not practice martial arts or special exercises.
