The youngest full member is Ton Ngoc Hanh, born in 1980, who currently serves as the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Council. Originally from Ho Chi Minh City, Hanh holds a master’s degree in political science with a focus on Party building.

She has had a long career in youth and political affairs, previously serving as Secretary of the Binh Phuoc Provincial Youth Union, a member of the provincial Party committee, and a dedicated National Assembly deputy. In 2019, she was appointed Director of the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs in Binh Phuoc, later becoming Secretary of the Dong Xoai Party Committee.
By January 2021, she had been elected an alternate member of the 13th Party Central Committee and went on to serve as Vice President of the Vietnam Women’s Union. In November 2024, following the provincial merger of Binh Phuoc and Dong Nai, she assumed her current post.
Nguyen Minh Triet, born in 1988 in Ca Mau province, is the youngest alternate member of the 14th Party Central Committee. He currently holds the role of Standing Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and President of the Vietnam National Student Association. Triet holds a doctorate and has built his career through extensive involvement in youth leadership.

He previously worked in Binh Dinh province as Deputy Secretary and then Secretary of the provincial Youth Union, and was also a member of the provincial Party Committee. From 2016 to 2021, he served as Head of the School Youth Committee under the Central Youth Union, as well as Vice President and later First Vice President of the Vietnam National Student Association.
In October 2021, Triet was elected Secretary of the Central Youth Union and took on his current role as Student Association President. By August 2025, he was appointed Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Youth Union.
Among the 16 alternate members newly elected to the 14th Party Central Committee, several others were born in the 1980s. Notably, five members were born in 1983, including:
Nguyen Tuan Anh, Deputy Secretary of the Lai Chau Provincial Party Committee
Nguyen Huy Dung, specialist in the Central Steering Committee for Science, Technology, Innovation, and Digital Transformation
Bui Hoang Phuong, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology
Tran Quan, Director of the State Treasury under the Ministry of Finance
Mua A Vang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in Dien Bien, who was also an alternate member in the previous term.
Five other alternate members were born in 1980, including:

Nguyen Minh Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee and Chair of the People’s Council

Do Huu Huy, Deputy Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee
U Huan, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Quang Ngai Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front
The 14th Party Central Committee includes 71 new full members and 16 new alternate members. The newcomers represent diverse professional backgrounds, from military and public security officials to technocrats, academics, and leaders of key government bodies.
