A theater performance titled “HISTOIRES”, which is a breathtaking play inspired by oral lore and a beautiful travel through different eras and places, will take place at the Youth Theatre in Hanoi on January 12, starting at 8 p.m.

The play is an encounter between fictional characters and historical figures, between real and imaginary events.

“HISTOIRES” is directed by Quentin Delorme with adaptation of Alexis Michalik’s “Le Porteur d’Histoire”. It will be staged by students from ATH Academy and comedians from Escape Co. 

The play is about Martin, who has to bury his father on a rainy night, deep in the Ardennes forest.

It goes beyond his imagination that the discovery of a manuscript notebook leads him on a quest through history and continents.

“HISTOIRES” will be conducted in French with English and Vietnamese subtitles. Admission to the event is free. Donations for the performers are welcome upon exit.
