On the morning of April 6, the main ceremony - the commemoration of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva - was held in a solemn atmosphere, attracting a large number of monks, nuns, Buddhists, locals, and tourists.

The ritual was conducted with dignity, embodying a spirit of compassion and offering prayers for peace, happiness, and well-being. Many attendees took part in worship and paid their respects.

During the central ceremony, monks, nuns, and followers joined the procession carrying the statue of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva. Offerings of flowers were made, accompanied by prayers for national prosperity, favorable weather, and the well-being of the people. The rituals were carefully organized in accordance with Buddhist traditions, reflecting the enduring cultural and spiritual values of the community.

A highlight of the event was the reenactment of Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, combined with the ceremonial procession. The vivid and dignified portrayal symbolized compassion and the salvation of suffering. Alongside this were performances featuring attendants, bodhisattvas, celestial maidens, and the Four Heavenly Kings, presented by Buddhist families, forming a colorful and captivating procession.

The Quan The Am Festival at Ngu Hanh Son in 2026 takes place from April 4 to 7 (corresponding to the 17th to 20th days of the second lunar month), featuring a wide range of activities that blend religious practices with cultural and artistic expressions. Recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage since 2021, it is also listed among the 15 major festivals in Vietnam.

In addition to religious rituals such as grand prayer ceremonies, meditation sessions, and Dharma talks, the festival includes various cultural activities, folk games, exhibitions, and traditional sports.

Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, Vice Chairwoman of the Da Nang People’s Committee, emphasized that the festival is not only a spiritual event but also a distinctive cultural space where religion and daily life converge, helping promote the image of a friendly and culturally rich city to both domestic and international audiences.
