The pond where the three children drowned

According to the initial information, on Tuesday afternoon, the children aged between four and six in Tan Hiep Town, Tan Hiep District came to the construction site of the commune chairman and party secretary Vo Van Chinh’s family to play.

They fell into a pond in the site and all of them died.

Pham Hong Hung, chairman of Tan Hiep Town, said that their children’s family faced difficulties, so the local authorities gave them a small financial gift for the funeral.

Chinh visited the families and provided them with VND20 million each.

Hung added that Chinh family’s construction site was licensed to grow fruit trees and operate eco-tourism services.

In front of the site, there are fences along with warning signs. However, the kids entered the place by the back entrance.

The police are investigating the construction site. Dtinews
