A deadly fire has ripped through a kiosk containing electronic products, killing three people. The blaze took place in Phuoc Buu town, Xuyen Moc district, Ba Ria Vung Tau province, on March 15.

Eyewitnesses said they heard a loud explosion at 3a.m. and then saw thick plumes of black smoke billowing out of the building.

The fire rapidly engulfed the entire kiosk, which contained lots of flammable materials.

The relevant units rushed to the scene to tackle the blaze as soon as the fire alarm was raised.

After the emergency services were able to bring the fire under control, rescue forces discovered three people dead inside the kiosk.

They were identified as Huynh Tan Duong, 46, Huynh Thi Kim Ngan, 10, and Duong’s girlfriend.

The property itself was entirely damaged in the incident, as well as two motorbikes.

Police are investigating into the cause of the fire.
