Thua Thien-Hue Province’s Federation of Labor on April 24 organized a mass wedding for 12 worker couples in the province.

Couples registered their marriage with the local authorities and received marriage certificates. However, they have not held the wedding yet because of financial difficulties, said Chairwoman of the Thua Thien-Hue Province’s Federation of Labor, Nguyen Khoa Hoai Huong.

The mass wedding was held at the province’s Labor Cultural House in Hue City, prior to the couples run along the main streets of Hue city and offered flowers to late President Ho Chi Minh’s statue at the provincial Ho Chi Minh Museum.

Disadvantaged and low-income couples also received assistance with wedding outfits, rings, two tables at the wedding party and other celebrations.
