The Chairwoman hailed Mr. Tsutomu Takebe for having contributed to launching cultural exchange activities among the two countries and boosting cultural exchanges and mutual understanding among people, thus spurring relations and friendship between Japan and Viet Nam.
The host leader welcomed the successful and meaningful organization of the Viet Nam-Japan Festival in HCMC in early 2018, which served to introduce the good impression of Japan to Vietnamese people.
She was convinced that the event would kick off a series of activities to celebrate the 45th anniversary of diplomatic ties.
The host leader welcomed the Japan-Viet Nam Friendship Parliamentary Alliance for its positive and effective operation. The Vietnamese National Assembly welcomes and always supports the operation of the Alliance, the Viet Nam-Japan Parliamentary Friendship Group in general and Mr. Takebe Tsutomu in particular.
Mr. Tsutomu Takebe congratulated Viet Nam on its successful organization of the 2017 APEC Summit Week and the 26th Annual Meeting of the Asia-Pacific Parliamentary Meeting (APPF-26).
According to the Advisor, around 250,000 Vietnamese students and trainees are living and studying in Japan. They help to develop the bilateral ties.
On this occasion, the Advisor presented the host leader a book titled Kyojinka on strengthening national competence in response to disasters in Japan, Asia, and the world./.
