Kayla Cosmos learns how to sleep on a motorbike saddle

Kayla Cosmos, 30, a content creator from the US, has a passion for travel and has been to many countries, including Panama, Mexico, Japan, South Korea, the Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam.

On her social network channels, Kayla shares videos about interesting tourism experiences she has had. In Vietnam, she discovered many attractions in Ha Giang, Hanoi, Ha Long (Quang Ninh), Hue, Da Nang, Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa), Da Lat (Lam Dong) and HCM City.

Impressed by the wonderful natural landscapes at famous destinations, the American traveler was also attracted by simple, common daily activities in Vietnam.

Most recently, on her lnstagram channel, Kayla related how she experienced a cheap hair washing service in Vietnam. She gave many compliments to the workers’ professional massage skills at the salon she visited.

She also had a good impression about the friendliness of the workers. Though they did not speak the same language, they still could communicate well thanks to Google Translate, and the workers were able to follow the requirements of Kayla.

Kayla said the hair washing service was interesting and “worth a try". Some people with curly or specially styled hair may have some problems after washing, but there was no need to worry about this because the workers there would fix the problem, she said.

The staff were friendly and enthusiastic, so customers should not feel shy if they want to make requests.

“Before shampooing, you can ask the staff to handle the hair gently if you are afraid of tangles or hair loss. If you do not know Vietnamese, you can use Google Translate to communicate,” she said.

Though Kayla had a few minor problems because of her blonde hair, she stressed that having her hair washed helped her feel relaxed.

In her video, Kayla also talked about how she practiced sleeping on a motorbike saddle like taxi motorbike drivers often do, and attending a lion dance during Tet in Nha Trang.

She said most tourists are interested in not just famous attractions but also simple, everyday activities. She said she loved the country and said she was sure she will return many times in the future.
