One motorbike driver was killed and 10 people were injured in a traffic accident on Saturday night in a stretch of National Highway No 20 running through the southern province of Dong Nai’s Gia Tan 1 Commune.

The accident reportedly happened after a bus crashed into a 7-seat car while the two vehicles were travelling in the same direction.

After the crash, the car hit a motorbike, killing the bike’s 58-year-old driver. Four people in the car were injured.

The bus then hit a coach that was travelling in the opposite direction, injuring the bus driver, the coach driver and four passengers in the two vehicles.

The injured have been taken to Dau Giay General Hospital for treatment.

Local police are investigating the cause of the accident. — VNS
