With millions of visitors, including 5 million foreigners, visiting Ho Chi Minh City every year, tourism has become one of the city’s key economic sectors. However, traffic problems are posing a challenge to the sector.

Many other foreign tourists are annoyed with busy traffic in Ho Chi Minh City. Traffic jams are challenging the city’s tourism sector.

Traffic congestions always take place in the city centre. Pedestrians even cannot walk on the pavement as drivers take their place.

The country’s southern economic hub targets to serve 5.5 million foreign visitors and 24 million domestic ones this year.
