ChatGPT has emerged as the most noteworthy technological phenomenon in 2023. That is why the user growth rate of the AI program is far ahead of previous "technological monuments" such as Instagram, Spotify and Facebook.

On social media, one can easily find posts with content related to ChatGPT, which has raised internet users’ curiosity about trying the AI program.

As ChatGPT is a new technological product, not all people can access it. That is why training courses about ChatGPT in Vietnam have been springing up. In general, the courses are run by training establishments, digital marketing units or online training platforms.

The tuition is between VND500,000 and VND2 million, depending on whether it is held online or offline, the number of teaching hours, content of courses and reputation of the training establishments.

Learners are taught the most basic things, like how to set up a ChatGPT account, and information about the AI trend. However, most are more interested in how to set commands to be able to use ChatGPT in their lives and daily work.

The work that people need to use ChatGPT are creating content for marketing and goods sales, YouTube content and content for posting, as well as taking care of customers on fanpages.

According to Gitiho, an online training platform, ChatGPT was one of the most active learning courses on the platform in March 2023 with an average of more than 3 hours of learning per account.

Commenting about the ChatGPT rush in Vietnam, Dang Thai Hoa, deputy CEO of Rikkeisoft and director of Rikkei AI, said ChatGPT users are impressed because other chatbot tools had not provided good answers about many fields.

Hoa said that the answers given by ChatGPT are the results generated by AI, based on the big volume of data it had learned before. Therefore, this tool is not absolutely trustworthy. One chatbot that provides knowledge in all fields must not be knowledgeable than the experts who spend many years to research some specific issues

He said that it is not ChatGPT, but Vietnamese enterprises and products developed specifically for Vietnamese people which are the driving force that encourages the development of AI in Vietnam.
