Travel+Leisure’s latest list includes a host of stunning locations across Europe, Asia, and Africa, all characterized by breathtaking natural landscapes, rich cultural histories, and impressive architecture that promise unique experiences for travelers.

Veronica Inveen, the managing editor of Travel+Leisure Southeast Asia, Hong Kong, and Macau, expressed her admiration for Quang Binh, a place where visitors can lose themselves among countless caves and rivers.

“Quang Binh's majestic mountains and diverse, lush flora make it look like paradise. It is also a promising destination for healing with its pristine, tranquil nature. Don't forget to visit Dong Hoi to experience local cuisine with standout dishes like fish porridge, eel noodles, and banh beo,” suggested Travel+Leisure.

Inveen highlighted Phong Nha, a UNESCO World Heritage site, as the key feature that makes Quang Binh special. “This is the perfect destination for adventure enthusiasts who enjoy kayaking, cave exploration, hiking, or camping,” she concluded.

Previously, Quang Binh has also been recognized by the famous travel guide Lonely Planet.

Lonely Planet describes Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park as a natural world heritage site with an incredible cave system and rich biodiversity. Son Doong Cave, the largest cave in the world, offers explorers breathtaking and mysterious natural landscapes.

Thien Duong (Paradise) Cave is one of the most beautiful caves in the world, featuring unique stalactites and stalagmites. The Tu Lan cave system provides an adventurous experience with its underground rivers and unique caves.
