An Bang Beach – the rustic beauty of Hoi An

With the rustic beauty of the landscapes as well as friendly people, An Bang Beach in the ancient city of Hoi An, the central province of Quang Nam, has emerged as an attractive destination for foreign visitors.

An Bang Beach, which is located in Cam An Ward and about 5km from Hoi An Ancient Town, used to be a bathing beach for fishermen in the past, so it is absolutely pristine and quiet.

Most visitors to the beach are foreigners, mainly from Europe, Japan and the Republic of Korea. Western tourists like to lie down on benches to read books or enjoy the peaceful sceneries.

There are no large-scale hotels and resorts in An Bang, but instead many homestays and small restaurants are popular here. Most of them were designed and decorated according to the style of Vietnamese villages with bamboo chairs and tables, lanterns and small bamboo beds.

The locals expanded many services for visitors, especially paragliding, jet-skiing and water-skiing with the price of VND500,000 and over.

Just immersing in the blue sea water and lying on the sandy beach, visitors can forget the worries of their lives. Therefore, many people hope that there will not be large-scale hotels and resorts in future, to keep the rustic beauty of An Bang Beach.
