Dang Le Trung Nguyen, born in 1998, has been introduced as deputy CEO of TNI Group, marking a rare public appearance since he last drew media attention in late 2021.

His mother, businesswoman Le Hoang Diep Thao, announced the appointment on her personal Facebook page on the morning of October 21.

Trung Nguyen is the eldest of four children of Dang Le Nguyen Vu and Le Hoang Diep Thao, two prominent figures in Vietnam's coffee industry.

Their children have largely remained out of the public spotlight.

The latest announcement has attracted attention because it identifies Trung Nguyen as holding a specific executive position at the company established by his mother.

At the time of writing, TNI Group's website had not yet updated its executive management roster to reflect the appointment.

According to the company's website, Thao is currently the founder and CEO of TNI King Coffee.

She is also known as a co-founder of Trung Nguyen Coffee Group, which she helped manage from 1996 to 2014.

In 2015, Thao established TNI Corporation and officially launched the King Coffee brand.

King Coffee now has a presence in approximately 120 countries and territories worldwide.
