The victim was Dang Quang H., 49, in Huong Tho commune, Vu Quang district, Ha Tinh City.

H said several weeks ago, when he got into a pigsty to catch piglets for sale, he was attacked by the sow.

The pig bit his penis, so H had to go to hospital for treatment in ten days.

As the injuries were in necrosis, doctors cut off part of his testicles. The patient recovered from the injury.

H said the sow weighed about 200 kg. It was normally very gentle.

H is the director of a private firm, which specializes in livestock breeding.
