A video capturing their joyful ceremony has attracted hundreds of thousands of views and more than 13,000 likes on TikTok.

In the video, the twin grooms bring home their brides on the same day. Both couples held their nuptials on a shared stage, with representatives from all three families taking turns to give speeches.

The unique scene amused viewers and sparked curiosity. However, it also triggered mixed reactions regarding the idea of holding a double wedding.

Many praised the joyful occasion, calling it a rare and heartwarming event.

“Double happiness for the family - both daughters-in-law welcomed on the same day! What could be better?” one comment read.

“It's convenient in every way, and the brothers get to walk side by side on their special day,” another noted.

Others expressed sympathy for the brides, suggesting that their spotlight may have been dimmed by the shared ceremony.

“No matter what people say, I feel a bit sorry for the brides. Usually, the bride is the center of attention, the most beautiful person in the room. But with two brides, that attention is divided,” one user wrote.

“Sure, it saves costs for the groom's family, but I imagine the brides may feel somewhat overlooked,” another commented.

The couples shared unforgettable moments on their wedding day.

The couples featured in the video are Do Hoang and Thu Thu, and Do Hai and Thuy Hau. All were born in 2001 and are from Thai Nguyen. Hoang is the elder twin.

Their weddings were held on October 1.

Speaking to VietNamNet, Thuy Hau shared that she and her husband had been together for five years before deciding to marry, while Hoang and Thu began their relationship more recently.

The two couples have become close, often sharing about work, life, and future plans.

As both relationships matured, the couples and their families discussed their plans carefully before agreeing to a shared wedding date.

“It was an auspicious day, ideal for a happy union. Plus, having twin brothers marry on the same day symbolizes double happiness and blessings. My sister-in-law and I both supported the decision,” Thuy Hau said.

On the afternoon of September 30, the brides’ families held ceremonies at their respective homes. On the morning of October 1, the grooms' family formed two separate processions to go pick up the brides.

“Usually, the mother-in-law would go to fetch the bride, but in our case, she stayed home to welcome both daughters-in-law. The grooms were accompanied by two family representatives instead,” Thuy Hau recalled.

Since the bridegroom Do Hoang lived closer, he returned home earlier to perform the ancestral ceremony. When Do Hai and Thuy Hau arrived, both couples stood together on stage for the wedding ritual.

“I was truly happy to share the wedding day with my husband’s twin brother and his bride. Having my sister-in-law by my side gave me confidence. I didn’t feel nervous on stage or when we thanked the guests at over 60 tables,” Thuy Hau shared.

After the ceremony, Do Hoang and Thu Thu moved in with family in their hometown, while Thuy Hau and Do Hai began their married life in a rented house near their workplace.

Both couples are focused on building a stable future, feeling reassured with their families behind them.
