National flag carrier Vietnam Airlines is offering 1.4 million tickets for all domestic routes, with flights scheduled between January 20 and February 19, 2019, marking an increase of more than 100,000 seats, equivalent to 566 flights, being made available versus Tet promotions last year.

Meanwhile, Jetstar Pacific has put some 600,000 tickets on sale to meet the rising demand of passengers in the period.

The two carriers are continuing to offer various ticket price options and have advised passengers to book their tickets quickly to guarantee they get a seat during the country’s peak air travel season.

Vietnam Airlines currently uses a fleet of state-of-the-art aircraft, such as Boeing 787, Airbus A350 and A321, with four-star service quality in line with SkyTrax standards.

The carrier offers services around the clock through its switchboard and fan page. Besides this, Vietnam Airlines is due to deploy an in-town check-in service in the cities of Hanoi and Danang to help passengers save time.

Meanwhile, Jetstar Pacific is boosting staff numbers and conducting aircraft fleet maintenance to ensure efficient services during the Tet holiday.

The two carriers suggested passengers purchase air tickets on their websites, through authorized outlets and at official ticket offices and ask for invoices to avoid buying fake tickets.

Passengers taking domestic flights are encouraged to make use of online check-in services and check-in kiosks at airports to reduce the waiting time.
