The National U17 Football Championship will be kicked off on June 29 with Dong Thap playing Sanatech Khanh Hoa in the opening match at the Thong Nhat Stadium.

The national football tournament for U17s will be organised late June in HCM City. 

The two teams are in Group A with Viettel, FLC Thanh Hóa, Public Security and the hosts. Group B includes PVF, Hanoi, Ha Tinh, Dak Lak, SHB Da Nang and Hoang Anh Gia Lai.

The teams will take part in a round-robin format in the group phase. The two best teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals.

The final is scheduled to be held on July 13 with the winners walking away with VNĐ50 million (US$,200).
