The national squad will undergo a month-long training for the 2018 Asian U19 Championship qualification, which will be organised in November in Chinese Taipei.

Thirty members, including four goalkeepers, 10 defenders, 10 midfielders and six strikers, will start practising on October 2 at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Centre in Hanoi.
Vietnam is in Group H. They will first play Macao on November 4, the hosts on November 6 and Laos two days later.
The 10 group winners and the five best runners-up will qualify for the final tournament.-
