Viet Nam’s national U22 team lost to Uzbekistan 1-3 in the last match of the friendly international tournament in Wuhan, China yesterday.

Uzbekistan scored two goals in the first half.

After the break, Viet Nam played attack to narrow the gap. After a number of efforts, Viet Nam shortened the gap to 1-2 in the 72th minute.

Four minutes later, Uzbekistan raised the score to 3-1.

Viet Nam had several chances to score in the final minutes of the match but failed.

Earlier, Viet Nam tied with China 1-1 and drew 0-0 with Mexico.
