The 28 players who gathered together yesterday will train in Hanoi for nearly a week before coach Park Hang-seo picks 23 players to compete at the event.

Việt Nam will stay in Jiangsu Province and play a friendly against Palestine as a final warm-up on January 4.

The championship is from January 9-27 with the participation of 16 teams.

Viet Nam are in Group D with powerhouses South Korea, Australia and Syria. — VNS
