On December 17, the organizers of Miss Vietnam National 2024 held a press conference to unveil the crown and other coronation gifts for the new beauty queen.
The judging panel is led by People's Artist Vuong Duy Bien as Head Judge, with former Miss Vietnam Ha Kieu Anh as Deputy Head Judge. The panel also includes beauty queens Nguyen Thuc Thuy Tien, Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc, Luong Thuy Linh, and Pham Ngoc Phuong Anh.
At the press event, the spotlight was on the crown, which will be awarded to the new Miss Vietnam National. The crown is adorned with 1,079 gemstones and 54 pearls, including 53 freshwater pearls and a central South Sea pearl. Its design draws inspiration from the lotus flower, with soft, overlapping petals symbolizing beauty and purity.
In addition to the crown, the new titleholder will receive the coronation phoenix robe, designed by Tran Thien Khanh. The golden robe features patterns of five phoenixes combined with auspicious clouds and water waves, symbolizing harmony between humans and nature.
A unique aspect of this year's competition is the signing of agreements with regional license directors from Binh Dinh, Lao Cai, Gia Lai, Hung Yen, and Da Nang. This marks the first beauty contest in Vietnam to adopt this model, aiming to professionalize the training of beauty queens.
Before the grand finale, contestants will participate in Vietnam Beauty Fashion Fest 10, titled X-Mode, on December 18. The stage will be designed in an X-shape, inspired by crystal glass castles.
The Miss Vietnam National 2024 grand finale will take place on the evening of December 28 in Ho Chi Minh City. The winner will represent Vietnam at Miss International 2025.
The organizers hope this event will elevate the prestige of Vietnamese beauty on the global stage, especially following the success of Thanh Thuy at Miss International.
