VietNamNet Bridge - Built on an area of 5,000 m2, with some gold-inlaid details, the temple of the Tran Family is the largest of its kind in Ha Tinh, a poor province in central Vietnam.
The construction of Tran Trieu Dien temple started in April 2014 in the village of Kieu Linh in Xuan Pho commune, Nghi Xuan district, at a cost of over VND100 billion ($5 million).
The entire construction cost was donated by a local entrepreneur, who is living in Vinh City, Nghe An Province, according to Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Anh, Chairman of Xuan Pho commune. The temple is built to worship the ancestors of the Tran family.
The work was inaugurated in early 2016. The temple consists of over 15 categories, including three large buildings named De Nhat Dien, De Nhi Dien and De Tam Dien. These works are in ancient-modern style.
Xuan Pho communes has an area of 585.66 hectares with 4,200 inhabitants. The commune has just achieved the new rural criteria, with per capita income of VND30.6 million ($1,500)/person/year.
