The EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) is expected to be officially signed at the beginning of December, during a visit by senior Vietnamese leaders to Europe. 

 The European Union (EU) is the top partner in Vietnam’s foreign policy, stated Vuong Thua Phong, Ambassador to Belgium and head of the Vietnamese Delegation to the EU.

 The EU and Vietnam are celebrating the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations in 2015.

In the context of national and global socio-economic difficulties, the diplomatic work of Viet Nam in 2012 continued to flourish, proving the country’s increasingly raised role and status in the region and the world.
