The Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Viet Nam (Vietcombank) has announced the adjustment of transaction limits on its online service VCB-Mobile B@nking starting June 19.

The adjustment will be effected through authentication methods on its mobile banking service such as facial recognition and fingerprint identification.

For transfer transactions within Vietcombank, including one-time transfers, future payments, periodic payments, and transfers to other local banks, as well as quick transfers via card and charity transfers, the transfer limit has been raised to VND2 million (US$87.70) per transaction instead of the previous VND500,000.

Maximum and minimum daily withdrawal limits remain unchanged at VND3 million per day and VND50,000 per transaction.

The limit for payment of bills, including telecommunications, train and airline, electricity, and water, as well as tuition, insurance, and hospitality and tourism services, has been adjusted from VND500,000 per transaction and VND1 million per day to VND2 million per transaction and VND3 million per day.

Maximum transaction limits for payments using Quick Response (QR) Code have been lifted to VND2 million per transaction and VND3 million per day from the previous VND500,000 per transaction and VND1 million per day.

Prepaid mobile rates for Mobifone, Vinaphone, Viettel, G-Mobile and Vietnammobile have been increased from VND500,000 per day to VND3 million per day.

However, the limit for credit card payments has remained unchanged at VND5 million per transaction and VND10 million per day.

Vietcombank also stipulates a daily limit of VND15 million for total transactions per day. — VNS
