VietNamNet Bridge - Vietnam Airlines will cancel 10 flights from Cat Bi Airport in Hai Phong City and Tho Xuan Airport in Thanh Hoa City on August 19 due to impact of the typhoon Dianmu.




The canceled flights include 6 flights between Hai Phong and HCM City, Nha Trang and Da Nang (VN1182/1183, VN1580/1581, VN1672/1673) and 4 flights between Thanh Hoa and HCM City (VN1270/1271, VN1272/1273).

To serve the affected passengers, on August 19, Vietnam Airlines will increase two flights on the route between Da Nang and Pleiku (VN7901/7900) and 4 flights between Hanoi and HCM City/Da Nang (VN7250/7251, VN7162/7161).

Also, on August 20, Vietnam Airlines will increase two more flights between HCM City and Thanh Hoa (VN7272/7273).

As the third typhoon this year will also affect the Noi Bai International Airport (Hanoi), Vinh Airport (Nghe An) and Dien Bien Airport in Dien Bien province on August 19, the carrier will continue to closely monitor the weather to adjust its flight schedule.

Because of bad weather, on August 18 Vietnam Airlines cancelled six flights from and to Lien Khuong Airport in Da Lat, including four flights between Da Lat and HCM City and two between Hanoi and Da Lat and two flights between Da Nang and Pleiku.
