VietNamNet Bridge - Vietnam Airlines said that some people recently offered for sale fake air tickets in Japan through a Facebook page.

Vietnam Airlines investigation showed that its air tickets were offered at very low fares on a Facebook named “Air Services - Airserco".

The banking account provided on the website belongs to a computer game card company based in Tokyo. After the buyer transferred money to the account of the game card company, the ticket seller got the game cards and then sold the cards for cash.

Thousands of Vietnamese students in Australia were cheated with fake air ticket booked via a Facebook page in late 2015, with a total of more than $360,000.

Vietnam Airlines recommended its clients to book air tickets on the company’s website at: www. vietnamairlines.com or at offices of Vietnam Airlines at home and abroad, which are listed on the airline website.
