According to the organiser – Exporum Inc, the three-day exhibition is participated by representatives of 150 leading brands, including Rich Products Vietnam, Cubes Asia, Milklab, Punto Italia, and VP Milk, alongside international firms from Peru, the Republic of Korea, Taiwan, and Singapore, among others.

The event aims to form networks in the coffee industry, and help domestic companies showcase their products and services and know more about modern coffee technologies.

Also featured in the event is the Vietnam National Barista Championship, the first coffee making competition in Vietnam up to the world coffee event standards. Winners of the competition will continue competing in the World Barista Championship in Melbourne, Australia, in May 2020.

The Vietnam National Latte Art Championship will be held for the first time on the sidelines of the show, with its winner securing a spot at the World Latte Art Championship in Berlin this June.

Another competition to thrill visitors to the show is the Vietnam Signature Battle, a national beverage tournament in search of new drink recipes for the growing food and beverage market in Vietnam. The champion will pocket a prize of up to 5,000 USD and have a chance to join training courses and compete at the World Signature Battle 2019 in Seoul.

A “Coffee Talk” workshop by speakers from the sector will also open, welcoming anyone interested in the Vietnamese coffee market.

Vietnam has about 664,000 hectares of coffee plantations. It sells coffee to 80 countries and territories worldwide for more than 3 billion USD annually, accounting for 14 percent of the global market share and 10.4 percent of the global export value. However, only 7 percent of exported Vietnamese coffee products are processed.

Last year, the show attracted over 100 leading local and international coffee brands, along with beverage and pastry businesses.-VNA
