At his reception in Hanoi on January 19 for Em Sam An, Secretary of State at the Cambodian Interior Ministry, Minister Quang spoke highly of the outcomes of the two ministries’ cooperation in 2015, which, he said, contributed to ensuring each country’s national security and maintaining social safety and order, thus serving their nation building and development.

He expressed his hope that the two sides will continue delegation exchanges to enhance bilateral friendship, solidarity, and cooperation between the two countries’ police forces.

The guest, in turn, affirmed that the Cambodian Interior Ministry will continue collaborating more closely and comprehensively with the Vietnamese ministry in order to develop the Cambodia-Vietnam ties both intensively and extensively.

On the same day, the Cambodian Interior Ministry delegation held talks with officials from the Ministry of Public Security headed by permanent Deputy Minister Dang Van Hieu. The two sides signed a cooperation plan for 2016 between the two ministries.
