Due to the impact of Super Typhoon Ragasa (Storm No. 9), several domestic airlines in Vietnam have been forced to adjust their operations, canceling dozens of flights to ensure the safety of passengers and crew.

On September 23, Vietnam Airlines announced a major schedule adjustment and the cancellation of multiple international flights due to the direct influence of the storm. Specifically, flight VN580 (Ho Chi Minh City – Kaohsiung, Taiwan) was rescheduled to depart at 3:00 AM on September 24, while flight VN586 (Hanoi – Kaohsiung) was also delayed to 3:54 AM on the same day.

In addition, on both September 23 and 24, Vietnam Airlines will suspend all flights between Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Hong Kong, Guangzhou (China). At Cat Bi Airport in Hai Phong, all flights scheduled for September 24 will have adjusted departure and arrival times, with operations concluding before 11:00 AM.

Similarly, Vietjet Air has also issued an announcement regarding widespread flight disruptions caused by Super Typhoon Ragasa.

On September 23 alone, the airline temporarily suspended four flights: VJ8892/VJ8893 on the Da Nang - Macau - Da Nang route and VJ876/VJ877 between Ho Chi Minh City and Hong Kong.

For September 24, Vietjet will suspend ten additional flights, including:

VJ876/VJ877 (Ho Chi Minh City - Hong Kong - Ho Chi Minh City),
VJ986/VJ985 (Phu Quoc - Hong Kong - Phu Quoc),
VJ5530/VJ5531 (Nha Trang - Macau - Nha Trang),
VJ8890/VJ8891/VJ8892/VJ8893 (Da Nang - Macau - Da Nang).

During this period, other domestic and international flights may also face cascading delays or adjustments due to the ongoing impact of the storm.
