A Chinese Justice Ministry delegation led by Lu En Guang, head of its Political Department, has visited Vietnam to explore Vietnam's legal system, legal training and communications.
Welcoming the delegation’s courtesy visit on September 22, Vice Minister of Justice Le Thanh Long emphasized on Vietnam’s unwavering policy of promoting its strategic comprehensive partnership with China.
He said both countries should boost cooperation for mutual benefit while dealing with differences in respect of national sovereignty and peace for development.
Lu En Guang underscored the need for the two ministries to intensify the exchange of experts and the sharing of information about issues of mutual concern and work hand in hand to soon sign a new cooperation agreement.
The two sides should boost their affiliation in judicial assistance, firstly through the full implementation of the reached agreement on judicial assistance in civil and criminal matters, and exchange professional experience, especially in judicial administrative work, he added.
