The event aims to promote the country’s impressive cultural space with about 80 booths popularising specialties of the northern, central, and southern regions.
According to Nguyen Trung Khanh, general director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT), the festival will contribute to honouring the diversity and uniqueness of Vietnamese cuisine in general, with a specific focus on that of the central region in particular.
During the duration of the event, the quintessence of Vietnamese cuisine will be performed by renowned chefs. They will demonstrate not only cooking techniques, but also the values of each dish and drink.
Furthermore, art performances will be held every evening, aiming to excite crowds during the festival.
