The match was tied 1-1 when Manh Dung volleyed to score his first goal, in a match that Vietnamese national head coach Park Hang-seo was watching from the stands.
Both sides had several chances in the second half, but none of their finishes were on target.
This was Viet Nam’s second draw in the four-side competition. Earlier, they drew with Morocco 1-1.
In the other matches on Sunday, Morocco defeated Mexico 2-1.
With two wins and one loss, Mexico won the tournament. South Korea came in second, followed by Morocco and Viet Nam. — VNS
