Vietnam Fashion Week Autumn-Winter 2019 opened in Hanoi with a show held at Hanoi Bach Thao (Botanical) Park on March 22, which featured an array of modern, dynamic, and charming designs.
Designer Gen Viet debuts his latest collection which kicked off the three-day Vietnam Fashion Week Autumn-Winter 2019. Model Hong Que strides confidently. The model appears both strong and stylish whilst wearing a denim outfit. The designers skilfully featured brocade patterns of the Ma and M’Nong ethnic group from the Central Highland province of Dak Nong in this design. Some designs even used Tencel material to better suit the climate and make the models more comfortable whilst wearing them. Models put on a confident display in black and white silk outfits. Through the collection, designer Cao Duy wants send a message of modern, strong, and charming girls. Feminism was a theme running through designer Phuong Thanh’s latest collection. The silk outfits feature patterns of flowers from Da Lat city. Model Hong Que looks graceful in a blue off-shoulder dress. Designer My Hoang prefers to create outfits with a darker colour. The latest collection from designer Cao Minh Tien closes the first day of Vietnam Fashion Week Autumn-Winter 2019. |
